How Medications Affect our Rehab Goals and Treatment
September 29, 2012
It is sometimes hard to keep up with all the medical advances that can be applied to our clinical practice nowadays. And part of being the client-centred clinicians that we are, it is important for us to understand the complexities of the interdisciplinary team approach and how the medications that our clients are taking can affect their functional performance. We can utilize this awareness to find ways and maximize our assessment and therapeutic interventions when working with our clients. As a result we have invited Rashid Kashani, MScOT for a 2-day weekend seminar to discuss the basic concepts of drug therapy and drugs commonly used in the rehabilitation setting.
