This course will be focused on the following:
  - tips to speed up your assessment and treatments
  - interpretation of comprehensive assessment results and linking these to best practice treatment options
  - when can compression be considered despite abnormal assessment results and how to proceed
  - advanced compression techniques (ex. figure 8, tibial/malleolar padding, accommodating lobules)
  - exploration of different compression wrapping systems and discussion of their pros/cons
  - problem solving more difficult cases (ex. gout, dialysis, latex allergies, peripheral neuropathy, cardiac conditions)
  - selection of wound dressings below compression wraps to help with absorbing exudate
  - utilization of compression systems to aid with edema reduction and maintenance
  - compression management for different levels of amputations

This is a new course which is designed to be interactive and require participants to have some experience in the area of practice. A  portion of the course will be facilitated discussion on practice issues and experience with treatment selection and problem solving common issues. There will be demonstrations for techniques for both assessment and treatment as well as sample products for participants to trial.
